Keep in mind that individuals can run from the floor during the general meeting against anyone on the slate or for the open 2nd VP position. The election of officers will occur at the general meeting on March 29th at 6:30 pm. Please make every effort to attend this meeting along with your delegates.
SCHOOL VOLUNTEERS who will be visiting/working at PISD campuses please remember to renew your criminal background check for the school district. Pearland ISD requires that we reapply every year. CLICK HERE

ABOUT THE COUNCIL:
· The council won the 2002-2003 best small council of the year award from Texas PTA.
· In addition to providing training for local unit officers and chairmen, the council sponsors an International Festival or A Day in the Arts to celebrate Founder’s Day and participates in community-wide events promoting the mission and purposes of PTA.
· Annually, the council gives out Scholarships to PHS graduating seniors. The money for these scholarships is generated from the efforts of our local PTA units and Council Board who provide volunteers to run the concessions at the Pearland High School Football games.
